Kenneth was lost on April 11, 1950 when his F8F Bearcat fighter crashed near Corpus Christi, Texas.

Lt. Brown was graduated from Annapolis in 1947 and served as a line officer aboard the carrier Antietem before beginning flight training in 1948. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kingsley M. Brown, or 4525 Charing Cross Rd. Besides his parents, he is survived by a brother, Kingsley, Jr.; a sister, Carolyn, a student at Smith College, and his grandmother, Mrs. Carolyn Mambert, of Bloomfield Hills. Before entering the Naval Academy, he was graduated from Baldwin High School, Birmingham.
Kenneth is buried in Michigan.
