GLENN ALFRED WILSON

Glenn A. Wilson, known to all as “Hacker,” hails from Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. One of the most natural and versatile athletes to step on a field, he had a hand in soccer, baseball, and football. Football made him one of the all time “star men” of the excused squad. He was a real champion of the “beat the system course.” When this future fly-boy is around, you can be sure there’ll be a good time.

He was also captain of the soccer team.

Loss

Glenn was lost when his S2F-1 Sentinel crashed while operating from USS Antietam (CV 36) in the North Atlantic on June 7, 1956. Three others aboard were also killed.
